Tec Centro Capital Region, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is a locally governed nonprofit workforce development and training center that serves communities in the Harrisburg region. The center is modeled after highly successful community-based Tec Centro centers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Tec Centro Capital Region provides bilingual adult basic education, basic computer skills and occupational training, for adult learners, that offer opportunities to work in high demand industries, such as healthcare, construction and facility maintenance.

Working with community-based partners, Tec Centro Capital Region assists participants with supportive services to help overcome challenges to employment.

While some programs may have a very nominal fee, the cost of administering programs to serve adult learners is underwritten by the center through a combination of charitable funding, government grants, corporate support and philanthropy.
